Ex-Certified Computer Enclosure for ATEX Zone 2 Gas Locations

Safely use computers and 24" screens in potentially explosive gas environments. The ATEX PC workstation is a Restricted Breathing (Ex nR) enclosure that limits gas ingress to the internal electronics during normal operation, in accordance with EN IEC 60079-15. Supplied with an integrated display and optional Armagard approved micro-PC configuration, or compatible with customer-supplied equipment subject to Armagard written approval and certified power limits.

The enclosure is available with an integrated display and available with an optional Armagard approved micro-PC configuration, or can be used with customer-supplied equipment subject to certified power limits and prior written approval from Armagard. Note: Integrated end-user PCs must support an auto power-on function to operate correctly with the external power switch.

This flexibility allows you to update internal computing hardware over time while retaining the certified enclosure, provided all installed components remain within the approved thermal and electrical limits.
