Fantastic new innovations and content styles are being<br \/>\ndeveloped all the time and there are some really fantastic campaigns out there and<br \/>\nmore and more adventurous implementations are springing up all the time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">One of a growing number of trends is the use of complicated,<br \/>\nscheduled and synchronised campaigns on multiple machines. These are incredibly<br \/>\neye-catching especially when the content is synchronised to provide passers-by<br \/>\nwith an almost interactive experience.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Synchronised content can be really challenging to implement<br \/>\nand this sort of content is certainly not for the beginner as setting up such a<br \/>\nsophisticated campaign can be really difficult.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">One of the essential aspects of these types of scheduled<br \/>\ndigital signage campaigns is to ensure all displays are synchronized.<br \/>\nSynchronization is perhaps the most crucial aspect of these types of<br \/>\nsophisticated digital signage campaigns. There are multiple methods of<br \/>\nsynchronising this type of campaign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">One solution is to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ntp-time-server.com\">network time server<\/a> which receives a<br \/>\nsingle time source and distributes it amongst all devices on that network using<br \/>\nthe time protocol <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ntp.org\">NTP<\/a> (Network Time Protocol).<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.galsys.co.uk\">NTP servers<\/a> receive the time from an external source<br \/>\n(normally GPS or long wave radio) so there is no need to have the network<br \/>\nconnected to the internet although it is just as possible to synchronise to an<br \/>\ninternet time source although this can be problematic if there is any<br \/>\ndisturbance in the internet connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Any large network of digital signage displays also need to<br \/>\nbe protected, especially if media players or PCs are being used to generate<br \/>\ncontent. The best option for ensuring total security is to place both the<br \/>\nscreen and media device in a display enclosure, often referred to as an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armagard.co.uk\/lcd-enclosure\/lcd-enclosure.html\">LCD<br \/>\nenclosure<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Digital signage is advancing quite rapidly for such a burgeoning new industry.
