From giving us road directions to informing us of the latest sales, signs provide useful information as well as being a direct sales tool for retailers.<\/p>\n<p>However, signage has been going through what can only be described as a revolution in recent years thanks to the falling price of LCD TV\u2019s and plasma screens. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armagard.co.uk\">Digital signage<\/a> is now utilised in all sorts of places and for all sorts of purposes.<\/p>\n<p>There are huge advantages of digital signage over standard 2D signs; namely:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Less expensive than creating and distributing print ad campaigns.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Flexibility in it allows immediate changes of promotions.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Tailored messages for particular products or customers<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Opportunities to sell advertising space<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Provide important information<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The technology creates a better company image than cardboard signage<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Better visibility for warning signs or important information<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Influence purchasing decisions even up to the point of purchase<\/p>\n<p>Because of all these reasons digital signage is utilised in all sorts of sectors for all sorts of reasons but it has always been restricted to indoor use due to the fragility of the technology.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armagard.co.uk\/news\/lcd-enclosures-the-smart-choice-for-outdoor-digital-signage\/\">outdoor LCD\u2019s <\/a>are now regularly seen in outside locations.
