Thanks to the development of touch screens, due in part to the mobile phone explosion, this type of technology can be found everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Touch screens have long been favoured in industrial applications because there is no need for separate input devices such as keyboard and mouse.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.armagard.co.uk\/products\/touch-screen\/industrial-touch-screen-monitor.html\">Industrial touchscreen<\/a> devices have long been favoured for their ease of use and ruggedness too.<\/p>\n<p>LCD and digital signage is another revolution of the display and monitor sectors. These devices have come down in price dramatically and it is now just as inexpensive to use a digital signage or an LCD display than it is to have an old-fashioned 2D sign created and installed.<\/p>\n<p>Keeping any digital signage or industrial display secure and protected is the only challenge, particularly if the LCD, plasma or digital signage is to be placed outside where it has to be protected from vandalism and theft or in an industrial area where elements such as dust, dirt and liquids need to be kept from saturating the device.<\/p>\n<p>When needing an industrial display device such as an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armagard.co.uk\/products\/ip54\/industrial-lcd-monitor.html\">industrial LCD<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armagard.co.uk\/plasma-enclosure\/plasma-enclosure.html\">industrial plasma<\/a>, the key is to select a well designed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armagard.co.uk\/lcd-enclosure\/lcd-enclosure.html\">LCD enclosure<\/a>.
