Having already received the Queen\u2019s Award for international trade in April 2013, Armagard has again been given cause to celebrate, winning the \u2018National Exporter of the Year\u2019 award at the Chamber Awards 2013, sponsored by DHL Express UK.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Held at the Brewery in London on 28th November, 500 business delegates from across the UK were in attendance to witness Birmingham-based Armagard<\/a><\/strong>, who specialise in exporting protective enclosures for outdoor digital signage, computers, printers and other electronic devices, receive the accolade.<\/p>\n

Why Armagard?<\/h2>\n

Armagard\u2019s contribution to international trade has been highly acclaimed in 2013 and the company has received increasing, national recognition for its efforts.<\/p>\n

In recent years, Armagard has experienced exponential growth, flourishing despite Britain\u2019s economic recession, recording an export sales increase of 3000%.<\/p>\n

Sales from foreign trade have surged since 2007 when figures represented just 6% of annual turnover; by 2012 this figure had risen to 63%. It is this phenomenal growth and success that has seen the company rewarded in 2013.<\/p>\n

Armagard exports its products on a global scale covering territories such as the USA, Europe, the Middle East and South America and many of its touchscreen digital signage enclosures, printer enclosures and PC enclosures<\/a><\/strong> are now used by some of the world\u2019s leading brands.<\/p>\n

As voted for by the British Chambers of Commerce, Armagard was presented with the national award having been selected from hundreds of entries.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the accolade, Armagard Managing Director, Mark Neal said:
\n\u201cThe success of Armagard is attributed to the monumental effort of its staff and the focus we give to our customers. We\u2019ve had a plan of action set in place since 2008 which we\u2019ve stuck to, and as a result we\u2019ve witnessed phenomenal results in international trade.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

Nora Senior, President of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) also added:
\n\u201cWith focus and passion, Armagard has developed a fine offering in the marketplace, and is showing the world why business is good for Britain.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n
