Armagard's Restricted Breathing PC Enclosure offers a lower-priced alternative to conventional intrinsically safe and air-purged computer systems. It enables you to use a standard PC in, specifically, zone 2 hazardous areas.
A Zone 2 environment is that in which a potentially explosive atmosphere occurs only infrequently and for very short periods.
Armagard's Restricted Breathing Enclosure is Ex approved (II 3G EEx nR II T6) in compliance with the European Standard for Type N Restricted Breathing Devices (pr EN50021:1998), and compliant with the ATEX Directive 94/9/EC.
Under ATEX Directive 94/9/EC companies must correctly identify their hazardous areas. We recommend that you check that the area under consideration has been accurately zoned.
