Introduce your PC to its personal bodyguard. When it comes to a fight, Armagard PC enclosures always come out on top. We hope the following examples speak for themselves. |
 |
Forklift Impact
British Sugar appreciated the value of an Armagard PC Enclosure when a two and a half tonne Forklift truck knocked over £6,000's worth of computer equipment at its Bury St. Edmunds factory.
The PC and £5000 label printer - protected inside an Armagard Compact All-In-One PC Enclosure - rebooted immediately after the accident enabling operations to continue with only a minor interruption. |
 |
Roof collapse 1
A Armagard All-In-One withstood the impact of a 6" dia iron pipe falling from the ceiling of a textiles mill. As you can see, the PC and monitor were undamaged allowing operations to continue uninterrupted. Had the enclosure collapsed, the £20,000 device controlling the loom behind would also have been destroyed and production severely affected. |
 |
Washdown & Corrosion
In this fish processing factory, Armagard Stainless Desktops successfully protect PCs from daily hosedown and a high salt environment. You can see the daily deposits on the side of the enclosure. |
 |
Roof collapse 2
Armagard Stainless PC and Printer Enclosures after a roof collapse at Northern Foods. All computer equipment inside the enclosures survived unscathed and was relocated to a temporary production line. Less robust enclosures would have collapsed on impact. |
 |
Freezing Temperatures
In the frozen storage areas at Birds Eye Walls, Armagard PC Enclosures allow PCs to operate in an ambient temperature of -25C. An Armagard HEATPLUS module maintains a constant temperature inside each enclosure. |

Electrical Spikes
A powerful spike in the plant electricity supply at Johnson Matthey caused irrepairable damage to three weighing stations worth £6300. Two of the stations were offline for a day whilst the third could not be replaced for 12 days. The disruption to the 24/7 operation and financial loss was described as "significant". Seven other weighing stations installed in Armagard PC enclosures survived undamaged due to the surge-protection fitted as standard. |
